REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Valid Texas Teacher’s Certificate or enrollment in an Alternative Certification Program or equivalent.
- A minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience;
- Knowledge of State and UIL policies governing music education; and
- Ability to implement policy and procedures.
The Band Director will conduct the wind ensemble band, direct the marching band where applicable, teach ensemble classes and be held accountable for the accomplishments of the entire program. The Band Director will provide for band participation at extracurricular events, including concerts, football games, pep rallies, parades, TMEA and UIL activities. The Band Director will make arrangements for transportation, lodging, and meals for out-of-town events. |
