REQUIRED:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives own vehicle to and from work site as well as between District sites.
Directs workers engaged in ground maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse. Requisitions tools, equipment and supplies.
Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and standards.
Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
Interprets District policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Maintains time and production records. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of campus.
Plans and coordinates contract maintenance projects. Inspects physical condition of buildings.
Evaluates and reports on school improvement requests for consideration by the administration.
Obtains estimates on costs for various minor projects. Oversees custodial personnel in the school.
Performs activities of workers supervised. Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties.
Maintains confidentiality. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior as is expected of all District employees.
Maintains professional growth by attending in-service and meetings as requested/required.
Performs any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Director. |
