The role of the Family Engagement Specialist for 21st CCLC is to ensure that the 21st CCLC Grant is in compliance with grant standards and guidelines.  Coordinate services through follow-up visits to various homes, campuses, and other community agencies to include planning and coordinating family engagement activities.  The Family Engagement Specialist is to provide technical assistance to other grant recipients as needed.  Perform other duties and functions as a whole and to the growth of each student.  Collect data and oversee the total evaluations of the program at every side.  The Family Engagement Specialist will assist in providing the best cost-effective programs for the District.

 

Required:

•  Bachelor’s Degree;
•  Ability to travel between campuses.
•  Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
•  Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree;
• Experience in program development and coordination; 
• Knowledge of statutes and standards of regulatory agencies related to federal funding agencies;
• Demonstrated skills in writing, editing, and budgeting; and
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal funding and procurement processes.
